Chamber Offices

Welcome!  Our two communities offer a wealth of opportunities for residents and new visitors. Here, you'll find information for planning your vacation or relocating to one of the fastest growing areas in Arizona.  Known for our friendly neighbors, small town atmosphere, and a destination lying at the center of some of the most famous attraction in the Southwest, the two communities of Snowflake and Taylor welcome you and your family!

*A Message From The Chamber President - Barbara Bruce, IOM  In today's business climate, it is more important than ever to have business people in the community who will commit themselves to bringing the community together to develop strong local networks for successful business-to-business exchange.  Your Chamber Board are such people.  We live and work in this community and have a vested interest in sustaining and enchancing business.  We are also committed to maintaining the quality of life established by the original settlers who came here.  Though we seek growth for our communities, we also seek to maintain the small town values so evident to everyone who either lives, works or visits Snowflake and Taylor - that neighbor helping neighbor.  Abraham Lincoln said, "Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm."  We are proud to stand firm in and for Snowflake and Taylor.

ABOUT OUR COMMUNITIES

Snowflake, founded in 1878 by Mormon pioneers, perches on the northern flank of Arizona's White Mountains. Stretching along the ever-flowing Silver Creek, the Snowflake valley was populated by Ancestral Puebloan Indians for several thousand years. Their petroglyphs and kiva ruins are scattered among the scented juniper and sagebrush canyons and ridges.

The Town of Snowflake is the northernmost community in the White Mountains. At an elevation of 5,600 feet, the town looks across a sweeping plateau to distant mesas and mountain ranges.

Contrary to its name, the community enjoys a mild year-round climate - less than 10" of annual snowfall. Blue skies and clean air are perfect for golf, horseback riding or RV adventures!
